With life always moving at such a fast and hectic pace and often little time to kick back, relax and enjoy the great outdoors. How about not only having some you time to enjoy the fresh air? Even more exciting has to be the tell tale beep, when your metal detector alarm lets you know that it has found something for you to look at.

To get yourself started you are obviously going to need some equipment and to say the best metal detector is the one that costs you the most money is not necessarily true. A mid price range is more than adequate to get you finding all sorts of weird and wonderful bits and pieces of days gone by that are hidden under you feet.

So, with some spare batteries in your pack for starters you will soon be totally engrossed in what you are doing without a shadow of a doubt; and there would be nothing worse than running out of power in the middle of a deserted field or beach with no store in sight. Let us be honest here, life is just like that, you know what I mean?

I think that it makes perfect sense and is a good idea to take a few other supplies with you (thermos and a sandwich aside) you will need something to help you uncover your finds, some small sealable bags to keep each one safe and separate to prevent damage and plenty of enthusiasm.
